Ascents in Ceahlău

My first winter ascent of it, also my first time on something like this where I'm breaking trail and choosing the line. Knee high snow at first (the initial boulders are unburied, including the arcade) then hip-deep wind slab above. Mostly stable, you just crack the crust and sink v politely, with no propagation or sliding, but we did avoid the bigger, whooshier-under-the-boot slab below the chimney by climbing the bushy right face and traversing back into the gully under the tree line. Exited towards Piatra Armenilor.
