Routes in Northwest Province for selected grade

On the steep wall about 50m upstream of the access gully from Mountain Sanctuary.

1. 18m 30 Start left and climb past 4 bolts into the groove. Exit right.

Note: Initially opened at 28, but since then, a hold has broken off making the crux move harder. Bolts inspected in 2005

The line is just upstream of the worm hole descent.

Climb above the huge fallen tree past two bolts over a bulge to the top.

Climbs a line that curves rightwards to share the chains with ACROMAX.

Climbs the smooth face on the left of GLASS MENAGERIE. This was Herman du Plessis old project. A bent bolt needs to be removed. Some rather thin climbing on this one!

A tough crimpy line snatched away from Flex by Curly Steve. Said to be easier for lanky people.

Starts on 'Tomahawk' and veers right.

Slopy roofy start with large move out left, right of the large fig tree.

Starts below the chains of the Manometer and follows the bolt line all the way to the lip of the roof and finishing on the same chains as manometer.

The steep line through the bulge and striped wall above. Scramble up to the ledge. Reach out for the cock (or is it a bollock?) and work up the kneebar to gain the face. Move left to the massive shake ('baby Jesus rest') on Kleptomaniac then bust up the zebra-streaked wall.

Take a proper kneepad.
