Nodes in C: Wave Rock

(Leaving this here as its inherited by child locations - please take the time to take pictures of the boulders you visit and post them under the relavent locations so that we can start populating more topos 🙂).

As of 2014, no climbing is allowed in Rocklands without a valid climbing permit. Land owners often conduct inspections in the climbing areas and anyone found without a permit will be asked to leave the climbing area. Permits can be obtained online - www.quicket.co.za - or purchased at CapeNature's Kliphuis campsite office; De Pakhuys campsite office; or Traveller's Rest farmstall and restaurant.

Crouch-start with undercling in the horizontal crack, move up right and jump to the break, then move left to a slot and climb straight up.

Sit-start, move up to crimp and follow the crack to the top.

Sit-start low, move to sidepull and climb the line up right.

Start with jugs, climb through the bulge to a sidepull then to the break and top-out

Sit-start in little cave and climb up past the small trees

Sit-start, move to sloper then up and left and dyno to the top.

Sit-start under the roof, move out to edge then to slopers and throw for the top.

Start with right hand in undercling / crack, climb up to high break then traverse left and finish as Salam.
