As good if not better than I remember!

Trust me, don't rent kayak at low tide(

We took a longtail. Paid 800 each way (probably too much but oh well). When finished we gave the guy a call and he came and picked us up. We started 2 hours after low tide but was possible to reach the rope and staples and scramble up onto ledge where I then belayed my partner up to the ledge. At the end of the climb was high tide and was of course much easier getting back into the boat.

For a good portion of the climb you cannot see each other and you definitely cannot hear each other due to the noise of the passing boats. We just called each other when needed.

The route description on here is accurate. Though I personally don't see the benefit in lowering the lead back to P2 ledge to belay from there. The top of P3 is perfectly fine to have two people. You don't have a large ledge but still plenty places to stand and lean back into your harness. I also think it's nice to be able to share the top of P3 with your climbing partner rather than alone. Rapping down off top of P3 is no problem. You just backclip a couple of the bolts/slings on way down and you're fine.

All in all a great morning and glad not to have to kayak home after!

A little loose/dirty at times, but will clean up with time!

Ran out of draws a few bolts from the top but managed to pull through despite a massive run-out. Awesome adventure. Can get away with just 1 rap to start ledge if you have an 80 metre rope. Use the slinged mallion to prevent rope from drowning in the water after pulling down.

The last pitch is the cleanest and best climb of the three pitches.

I think its a 6b+ because of the length of the last Pitch.

First, big thumbs up for the new route! It is a great, adventurous experience, with the kayak approach and all.

Most of the route on rock that is sharp, brittle, or both. Especially first pitch is therefore a bit scary, even more so if you have another party below you at the anchor. Please wear helmets.. It gets somewhat better as you climb up. Comfy belaying anchors, hard to communicate at the second half of the 3rd pitch. For about half of the 3rd pitch the rock quaility suddently changes and it's great for a while. Enjoy, while it's not polished

What a route! So so awesome, some really cool climbing the whole way, clean until the last 2 bolts where we had a slight miscommunication so I just rapped down to the cave and let Brian lead the last 2 bolts, those diesel engines are so fucking loud! Highly recommended route, no line-up either
