Ascents in The Brain having Beta

Cool wavy bulby scoopy features on this one. Mark found gear a bit finicky.

Great route, 5.10 c in guidebook. Cool mono and lots of good moves

Onteresting moves. Makes you think.

Straight up at the third bolt is solid 12a. Going left makes this climb a hard 11.

Took another go at this one on Monday. Man, those first few moves are rough. Worked out some better beta but had to go before could try for the redpoint. Maybe next time.

3 falls on crux. Did all moves clean.

Ok route. Got a little more pumped than I had hoped at the top. Worth doing, especially as a warmup for Mensa or the other harder lines.

VERY difficult, bouldery opening moves. In my humble opinion the move felt harder than 11 but what do I know. The line is beautiful and climbs fairly well too.

This thing worked me and I ended up doing the easy left variation. Be aware in the afternoon it gets direct sun.... ugh

Fun moves on big holds. Very mellow line that is a great warmup. Takes a while to dry....

I was seconding to try and learn gear placments so I could lead it. Big group showed up and ruined that plan.

Trad. No anchors. Schetchy top out on moss roots.
