Succumbed to the peer pressure and the mounting psyche of what would end up as Alec's first V7 and got on this. High humidity and spooge factor, could barely hold the left crimp let alone dyno off it, which makes Alec's send (and then repeat for the camera) so much more impressive. I think he had 35 goes!

After 3 attempted “I’m Finished let’s move on’s” and slowly grinding down Skin on a day that potentially could’ve been awful, stoked to have dynoed through the wet rock, moss and pine needles to send this one, then to send it again for good measure

I remember being freaked out watching Ben on this but this time it just seemed like no big deal looking up at it. You absolutely do not want to fall but it might even be a V0.

Super happy with how I re-sent this, very smooth and controlled didn't struggle or grovel at all. All in the hips

Felt pretty hard getting back on this, took long breaks to save skin and made each go count. Got it maybe 3rd or 4th try

I think the problem should be more around the V5 range personally, but definitely some pretty neat and fairly tricky climbing.

I honestly think this could be one of if not the most sandbagged problem in all of Australia. Its definitely pretty fun to figure out though.

A bit of a banger one move wonder. I think the grade is debateable depending on your dimensions, but otherwise its definitely a neat little climb.

Nothing like an exposed, proud highball on slick granite to get you going.

Not sure where to start hands. Used a heel hook on the crescent shaped crimp (about chest height)and tried to start with R hand also on this crimp and L hand pressing into a different crimp. This seems doable but I was unsuccessful. Was successful when I used the crimp above my head for my R hand.

So close on the first attempt, foot plinged and dabbed hard. Enjoyeable! Repeated twice for good luck and knowing I couldn’t find anything more in my remaining 20 minute window to climb.

Not my style so feels very hard for the grade but if powerful sloper slapping is your thing then maybe not as hard. Also “poor feet” understatement of the century 😂 Quality rock and quality problem!

Fuaaaken amazing roof crack. Stoked to send it. Really hard to grade feels desperate and impossible to start with but with very specific jams and body position is goes very smooth so idk 5/6?

Another 5-10 goes, lots of micro beta improvements and can just tickle the salmon with left hand into the high jam but still not quite into the good spot.

got a couple of laps in on this number under headlamp in the dark. Some frogs and a massive tape worm snapping at small insects on the water surface kept us entertained inbetween shots.

All the overhanging, off-witdth crack training you need. Such a burly struggle from the sit start. Reached my high point again above the lip but couldn't get my feet on anything useful to finish....another heartbreak

Just jumped for the jug at the top 🤣. Will have to put in a proper attempt next time.
