Still can;t get my head around committing to the final move. Did feel the sidepull prior to the lip this time though, so new high point and figured the beta for the sidepull switch to undercling that I will use around the 2nd to 3rd clip. Nice route, looking forward to ticking it soon.

Man oh man. Nick led bar one bolt before the anchors right. I thought I had draws on my harness from the previous climb not realising he used those on his os attempt 😂. So I get past the crux first shot, completely surprising myself mind you, and am sitting under the bolt before the slab and reach for a non-existing draw. I shit myself and Nick is like go on if you are confident! I'm like fuck alright I'll keep going. Get to the final move to the lip and totally overgrip and pump out due to the loss of headpsace. Take the biggest whip of my life and tense so hard on the fall my nuts hurt. yeeeeehaw BB... next time.

My partner decided to test the effectiveness of his helmet by whipping head over heels onto the lower slab. My partner concluded that helmets are indeed effective, so strap em on kids! To top it off it started to rain.
