Descrizione

Scattered collection of small boulders, some with good landings. Watch out for the human landmines as some kind folk have been using this area as a toilet.

Avvicinamento

Park in the second parking area you come to on McKay Road. Walk two minutes through the reserve to the viewpoint. The ripple block is reached by walking right for five meters behind the rock platform and doubling back on yourself. The Anvil block is reached by taking the left path and then turning right down a gulley.

Storia

Grafico cronologico delle vie

Has been used as drinking spot for teenage derros for years, and probably bouldered on before. It's a great spot to combine a picnic and some low key bouldering, but I wouldn't travel vast distances to get here.

Sit start on sloper and make way upwards

Sit start matching the razor sharp tray. Move up using the slopers and sharp ironstone hold.

FA: Ziggy Samways, 25 Mar 2020

The full traverse under the roof and the full version of the partial lockdown. From the tray traverse left along the break and follow the thin seam to the final angular flat jug below the big roof. Failure to complete this will result in an $11,000 fine, house arrest and a visit from Gladys.

Same as for Full Lockdown however continue up the rail and top out.

Start as for FL but traverse the whole cave top out left of the tree.

Starting on rail use the hold in the roof to dyno out to the jug. Top out.

You never actually get in the crack. Starting at bottom of the crack make your way up the crack to top out.

FA: Ziggy Samways, 1 Nov 2019

Same as for DH however no campusing.

Around the corner from the tree by the ripple block. Sit start and pull hard on the slopers up the middle of the wall.

FA: Ziggy Samways, 1 Nov 2019

Traverse from right to left on the crimps

FA: Ziggy Samways, 9 Nov 2019

FA: Ziggy Samways, 9 Nov 2019

In order to get to this block, walk towards the crag as you would normally and then take the path the leads off left, turn left again and follow it until you find the large tree that has fallen in the middle of the track, turn right before the tree and then take the next right and follow the path down to the block.

Sit start on the right of the ledge at the bottom of the face and then work your way around to the right of the block, once you grab the large jug just mantle and scramble to the top.
