Honeymoon Beach Bouldering
VB- to V0+ The Promenade

A fun 100m long traverse in an incredible location.

Start at the entry of the obvious deep ravine, climb 2m up the RHS arete and keep traversing right, keeping 1 to 2.5m high all the way to the manky end of the wall, going through some interesting overhanging moves.

The rock is crumbling in places on the surface so look for big holds.

Boulderland

The boulders visible from the North Point Campground on the hill above Honeymoon Bay.

The rock is Toohey Forest-esque, and climbs similarly. Solid sandstone, that features many crystals and a gritty top layer, making for a rather skin destroying and insecure experience.

The boulders vary in height from 1m to 5m. Primarily slopey aretes, chimneys, blank faces, and the occasional flared crack. Features are minimal - generally shallow pockets, or slopey rails. The micro-edges that exist are snappy and can't really be trusted.

All in all, there are certainly a good number problems to be done but, given the sharp rock and often sub-par landings off tall boulders, it's a sector for the brave and masochistic. If you have more psych than sense and make the trip, bring more than 1 pad.

Boulderland
Speccy

1 or 2 hard moves on bad edges with wide foot on the low rail, then to decent holds and a slopey top out.

Wouldn't want to fall off the top. Probably will be V3/4?
