Ascensioni in Little Moon Bay come Red point

Very poor mantling technique.

Took several goes for the mantle - use the nib for a high right toe rather than trying to whale it

Bit of a committing first sequence

Tricky to find the beta for the mantle at the start!

Second bolt should be 20-30 cm higher to remove the ground fall potential on the crux sequence. Would be just as easy to clip.

Tricky thin slab at start; Sasha had the right beta for it. Then easy ground to anchor.

Had to clean some of the pockets, but then it went pretty fast. Very enjoyable slab climbing. Sustained, but without particularly hard moves. Grade 24 felt a bit generous.

Pretty confused as to where the starting holds were, so I fell. Enjoyable burly start to jugs way bigger than needed.

Awesome climb if you like technical vertical/slab... there’s a thumb catch down low, a cross through up high, what more could you ask for? Probably soft at the grade though...

Brilliant. Sustained climbing that will keep you thinking the whole way. The further you go the better the holds get so power through your pump! Currently all cleaned up and still super fresh! Grade is still fresh and needs more ascents for comfirmation. Either 23 or 24. Beta below.

Start can be done without standing on the tree. Crux is the move after the second bolt which will involve either a longgg reach or a dead point. Punch through to gain some more decent pockets and edges before getting to the victory jugs around the 4th bolt. Footwork is key!

Didn't do the start as it was sopping wet - tried a traverse in but it was pretty pumpy so batman start for now
