The Leap
Seaside bouldering that is far more secluded than the nearby Whale Boulders. WARNING: People (mostly Fisherman) regularly die here because they are swept off the rocks. While most of the climbs are high and dry, access is via lower rock shelves that can experience extremely powerful waves. Set waves (Large and powerful waves) can be 15 minutes apart in larger swells. ASSUME ANY SECTION OF THE ROCK SHELF THAT’S WET WILL BE HIT BY EXTREMLY POWERFUL AND DANGEROUS WAVES. |
