Quite a novel route, actually clipped the chains the day before but fell off the final “finishing” holds. Got it done next day so I’d sleep better

First had a play on this a few years ago and got the standard Taipan scared. Felt great to return much stronger and after a beta refresh lap get it sorted next shot. Soo good!

Bouldery start to some steep jugging and pumpy clips.

Boxed the cruxy reach move on first shot. Second shot. One day I might be strong enough to attempt the big boy version, Jenga made it look awesome!

Had the advantage of watching a couple of people before my attempt, definitely helped. Was well pumped when it came time to clip the anchor, one more draw fumble and it would have been quite the exciting whip.

Pretty ideal warm up for EOTT really, the traverse part anyway. Great climb!

Nearly binned it at the crux but managed to work out the sequence, just. Much jugging!

Fantastic warm-down. The jugs just keep coming to a tricky move up high.

Love this route, second shot after sussing my (non Jenga) beta, favourite of the day for sure.

Didnt quite have the meltdow, but definitely one of the trickiest moves I did the whole trip.

Has some of the biggest and smallest holds at Millenium. Just keep trucking.

Bit of bluies edging to use a different part of the fingers not often needed on Taipan.

Been on the goal list for some years now, did not disappoint. Was a bit worried working through the crux on my working lap and leaving wet fingerprints on all the slimpers, but thankfully the connies improved and got it done second shot. Foot pop one hold from final jug made me go from 50% to 110% in an instant, thankfully a couple of shakes sorted me out.

Happy to send Megos' warmup second shot. Wasn't to confident after a long belay session sent my body back to freezing but plenty of decent rests along the way defintely helped!
