Beyond me for sure, but my observation is that if you've got the shoulder strength the dyno may actually be easier than the static move.

Someone should clear out the shrubs, it would help with accessing the start. Mostly I was just scared to fall so I quit after the first clip.

Very short, but very fun route. If the terrain was different it would be a slightly high boulder problem. Very bouldery. Sweet mono on the left when you're going for the third bolt.

I'm so much weaker than last time I tried this route, this thing is like a benchmark for how much I suck. Also a tree branch grew out and covered the mono on the left that gets you to the third bolt, so I was flummoxed for a long time.

It's again slightly more than a scramble, but barely.

Hard start, drops grade dramatically after the second bolt. I think if I had a stick clip I might have made it, just too scary to fall back to the first bolt.

Finally got it. It's really not that hard, I just suck.

I took a look at continuing after Den E40, but gave up without even making the first clip. Looks nice though. Tops out outside on the Via Ferrata

Cimbed around 5pm, the light was really bad at that point. Head lamp wasn't much help jamming up the little offwidth, couldn't trn my head enough to see anything properly. You can actually get inside the narrow chimney cave and wiggle up to the fourth bolt that way, but I ran out of energy before I found an upper way out of it.

Went back down and tried it outside the narrow chimney. Looked more possible but I was spent. Next time go inside the caves around noon.

MUST climb early morning. The rock was too hot to touch in some places above the tree line at 11:00 when we tried it.

Wow, what a cool looking climb. There's a half pipe coming straight down the rock a little wider than your shoulders after the over hung boulder problem to start. It's so bumpy it looks like there are holds galore, but it's been so smoothed by water over the centuries that it's nothing but smooth slopers everywhere. A real tense climb. We bailed at the half way mark with a quickdraw above our heads we couldn't reach again after I placed it. BUT it's ok because using the via ferrata you can access the hole in the roof of this cave for a mega classic rappel back down into it for the clean. Also fun to swing around and grab the fins of rock hanging in space.

Passing by on a road trip, couldn’t resist pulling over just to try it again. Still beyond me.
