This guidebook is the digital, updated, and expanded version of the reference guide ‘Climbing in Verdon – 52 Years and 520 Routes ‘ from 2017. It presents a large selection of routes in the Gorges du Verdon and surrounding cliffs, as well as several nearby sport climbing areas. You will also find numerous recently developed, well-equipped multi-pitch routes at very accessible grades (<6a). Some of them have already become classics. In total, the guidebook presents over 400 multi-pitch routes and 22 single-pitch sectors*. Each route is accurately presented on photos, and details are provided regarding the climbing style, required climbing level, necessary gear, etc. The approaches are well described and supported by panoramic photos and/or maps. In short, Climbing in Verdon 2023 is a comprehensive and reliable tool for climbing in the Gorges!

This guidebook is created voluntarily by Simon Adlinger, Olivier Dobel-Ober, and Pascal Faudou. It is published by the local climbing federation (FFME Alpes de Hautes Provence) and 100% of the profits are used for equipment and maintenance of the cliffs.

This latest edition features all the routes on the cliff: 900 pitches spread across 37 sectors and sub-sectors. Each one is accompanied by a photo and route illustration. Various approaches are described precisely and supported by panoramic photos. For 25 years, this cliff has been a part of the global high-level climbing scene, mainly known for its challenging to extreme routes. However, nowadays, Céüse is no longer exclusive to the elite, as several recently re-bolted sectors allow everyone to enjoy this exceptional wall.

The author of this guidebooks, Laurent Girousse, is one of the main bolters of the crags around Gap.

This bilingual English/French guidebook is the digital version of the guidebook Climbing in the Calanques edited by the CT FFME Bouches-du-Rhône (the local branch of the French climbing federation)
It presents a large selection of climbing routes in the Calanques including sports crags and many sectors of multi-pitch routes. It was designed respecting several criteria: provide a description of the Calanques that is as thorough as possible, meet climbers’ expectations and preferences, and arouse interest in all types of climbing. The routes are drawn on photos, the accesses are described precisely and are illustrated with maps. Finally, for each cliff, approach time is indicated as well as the length of rope required, aspect, number of routes, the average difficulty, and the range of grades. This guidebook is published by the CT FFME of the Bouches du Rhône. It participates directly to the maintenance of the crags in the region.

This bilingual English/French guidebook is the digital version of the guidebook Escalade autour de Gap. In addition to the Gap region, it covers the Dévoluy and the Champsaur massifs and, a little further north, the Valgaudemar massif and the Buëch valley.
