2nd burn send. Fell off the polished pocket first attempt putting the draws on. Great climbing.

The crux is between the second and third bolt. It felt like standing up without holds for either hands or feet.

Good solid route with some not so obvious moves at the upper half. A lot of holes are chalked, however, most are useless. Still fun.

Nice technical climbing followed by some more athletic climbing with big moves. Some moves should be easier with bigger arm span.

Could have been a super fun jughaul 7a, was it not for the last meter to the anchor being heinously thuggy, crimpy & out of character with the rest.

Maybe 6b+ if the draws are on the anchor, pretty gnarly move to get rhem on there tho

Roy recommended lucky strike 7b, said that I should be able to send it in one day. But I didn’t find it for some reason… then I was like… okie, maybe 7b+ won’t be too bad either lol.

This route is full of powerful big moves, not really my thing. The crux was around the 3rd bolt, which makes it sketchy to fall. Thanks my belayer for the catch!

Why are all 7a/+ lines in Odyssey so badly bolted? The crux is AGAIN clipping the chains.... This is despite a lower placed top now. I give this personal grade 6c+ as there was a qd at the top and i clipped from a lower hold.

A power endurance classic.

Felt pretty limit, got slightly lost, but fought through the pump, committed, somehow held on & made it to the top.

Feel like I've really conquered my benchmark route (& first ever 7b) now! 😁

Did moves this summer. Worked out better beta this time! 3 total goes. Grade to be determined I guess, but 7c is painted on the rock

An apprenticeship in kneebarring for me. Pretty astonishing how good the rock still is for such an old route. I used very different beta from any I have seen for lower and upper cruxes (no toe hook, and no weird match in upper tufa hold), and put the draw on the wrong crux bolt, so hd to clip from the middle of the crux. oops. 5 or 6? total tries

Hardest climb to date. Super nice route with a bit of everything. Jug hauling, moonboard-like crux, kneebar tufa glory, fingery lip, technical top slab.

Pretty consistent in 3 sections. Feeling doable
