Figured out a way to do it… after about 25 attempts at the crux. 😂 Too cooked for the send but could go in another sesh or two.

Unsend! Pumped off right at the end. Was actually pretty pleased with that given I haven’t sport climbed for a bit.

Hail Mary. Top is easier in not 30 dev temps, crux is still bloody nails though.

Best route I’ve tried at Baronia so far! Pumpy with a spicy boulder to finish. Went pretty good second shot but hadn’t really figured out my feet properly for final crux. One to come back for!

Fell almost immediately after the 23 anchors, cooked!

Bloody sweaty condies but made some progress thanks to some micro beta for the pretzel move from Steph Hart. Tape job saved the left index from the pocket this time. All moves done, be good to give it a red point go when it’s not so sweaty!

Cool route. Bit of sour taste from punting on the last move, had plenty left in the tank, just fucked up the sequence for another 99% onsight of a 25. Getting a bit frustrating tbh.

Jugs

Can’t really comment on this climb, was too busy thinking about how much of a punter I am.

Did all the burly stuff then just fumbled the headwall, pulled back on and jugs to top. Pretty disappointed to drop the onsight on such a silly place, (few too many silly onsight drops recently) felt good the whole way. The guidebook is right about spaced bolts though, took quite the zinger when I came off. Didn’t go up again, was only init for the onny. Cleaning is a bit of a bitch.

Middle crux came out of nowhere! Exciting finish!

Some sort of mashup of this and the thing to the right. Aidan Cox kindly left some draws on the wrong bolts while doing his first ever route clean on “Troc”. Went up short a few draws, “up cleaned” and skipped a few to make it work. Quite the adventure!

Mega effort from Erinleigh and Caroline Chang on Thor first 23 and 23 flash respectively! Proud of both of ya’s! 🎉

2.5 hour approach, rapped into multiple incorrect crags, broken rocks, incorrect rope lengths, full bush bash/fence jumping exit and loads of laughs. Four star mega epic and that’s just the approach! Won rock, paper, scissors for the onsight attempt then punted immediately. Couldn’t even redeem myself on the second out! A lot bloody harder than I reckoned or maybe I’m just knackered! Either way it’s a rest day tomorrow!

Thought I was on “Language of Desire” tbh, excellent sustained route what ever it was!

Went for a red hot flash go with some beta from B1 and to put the draws on for JH in the morning, punted going for the break. Came back in the evening to finish it, expecting to put it away in one. First evening go was pretty crap, with the clouds parted and the sun baking down on me, it all started feeling too bloody hard. Got back on with 30 mins of daylight left and beautiful cool condies, went down with relative ease. Mega classic route, can’t wait to never go into/out of that hole again though!

First 27 in the mountains! 🤟 Tried pretty hard to get it putting the clips in, but fell off after the last bolt, heart breaking! Absolute limit for that last move, I chuck up a high heel/knee scum thing at the end and whichever side of my leg the rope goes it always feels wrong! Mega awesome/scary finale and a true grovel!

Gravity at least 2x, full body tired, at least grade 39 at the time.

Every move before the crux felt harder than ever before, was pretty surprised I made it to the top let alone clean!

Just did the opposite to Chris Martinez, easy.

Absolutely bricking it the whole way while being blasted by gale force winds. Froze my tits off while cleaning. 13 star mega classic quest!

Was fighting bloody hard for a 23 onny. Absurd amount of chalk through the crux, probably retreated to the rest 3-4 times before committing to it. Crux sequence was awesome but probably just as hard as “La La Land” but I probably just didn’t find the easiest way?

Nice to climb on some vert for a change, just wish it went for longer!

Pretty bloody good for a bit if a squeeze job. Couldn’t figure the crux first go but found a sequence that worked after watching a few others. Pre-tape the base of my index finger next time!
