Fun (dassie) traverse (manage your nerves, exposure ! 😂). Suggestion : a lot of drag on second pitch and history of stucked rope -> split the pitch in 2, made the day ! + it gives you the chance to enjoy a belay stance with a view !!! (half-a-bum-cheek type of stance for climbing party of 3 😉)

That last pitch is bold. We both backed off. I took a direct line of P3 through the roof, route reading error, think it will go but maybe 22 or 23. Would like to go back and check that out.

It's all good but pitch 3 is something special. Backed off pitch 4 -- good to have some unfinished business.

Took a proud whip on P1. Welcome to Wolfberg.

I lead the first pitch which felt harder than anything on Icarus. Josh lead pitch 2 and 3. Pitch 2 didn't have great gear, roof was a very cool feature. Would like to climb the top two pitches next time. Felt wild up there with the wind. Ben, Huey and Kim were climbing on Celestial next to us, really want to get into the big boy routes next year.

Led pitch 2 & 3

Lead the 16 which seemed quite run out over the roof. Felt good. Pitched it into 2. Could have done traverse (15) but playing it safe on my first Wolfberg traverse. Found the 17 surprisingly hard, crack layback thing, need to get mileage for trad technique. Impressed with Simon's leading.

If you don't want/ can't to do Energy Crisis, this is a high quality alternative, ESP the first and last pitches-magnificent!
