Once you get off the ferry, you’ll be eager to stretch your legs and take advantage of the small warm-up crag directly behind the ferry terminal. Jowan-byeok provides fun face climbing on volcanic rock with juggy holds. It faces southwest. |

Janggun-bawi
this crag is the most solid amongst the Ulleung-do crags. It is volcanic rock and offers face and overhanging climbing. Janggun-bawi is located by the road and faces northeast. |

Samseon-am
these three monoliths stand tall over the ocean. Among the three, the smallest has the most solid rock. the medium sized rock, on the far right, has only one four-pitch route that is graded 5.10b. According to the locals, the old natives of Ulleung-do used to scale the monoliths without climbing equipment. |
