Once you get off the ferry, you’ll be eager to stretch your legs and take advantage of the small warm-up crag directly behind the ferry terminal. Jowan-byeok provides fun face climbing on volcanic rock with juggy holds. It faces southwest.

Janggun-bawi

this crag is the most solid amongst the Ulleung-do crags. It is volcanic rock and offers face and overhanging climbing. Janggun-bawi is located by the road and faces northeast.

these three monoliths stand tall over the ocean. Among the three, the smallest has the most solid rock. the medium sized rock, on the far right, has only one four-pitch route that is graded 5.10b. According to the locals, the old natives of Ulleung-do used to scale the monoliths without climbing equipment.
