The first deep water solo wall in the region. It is near a tourist hotspot, so there is regular transportation, otherwise the walk to the wall from the pier is really pleasant.
There multiple possible walls for deep water solo on the island but this wall has all necessities for a easy climbing experience. There are interesting routes possible, the water is deep enough, there are no stones and there is a easy exit out of the water. The wall is brittle and some holds can break of. Like many deep water solo walls the structure that is regular effected by water is really sharp (watch out for your shins).
Watch for the tide and sea condition. Climbing the upper routes is only safe with a high tide (3m and up). With a tide under 2m climbing is not recommended and the exit out of the water can become difficult. The wall and exit is effected by waves and any wave height over 0,3m can make climbing less pleasant and will make the exit more difficult.
Getting there is really easy. You can walk directly from the street along the coast, or walk to the tourist point and then a short distance back. If you walk from the tourist point the best way is to walk over the stones behind the bike rack. To get to the water you need to climb down inside a very visible cave/tunnel. The way down is a mediocre hard climb on a steep ramp. The cave will not be flooded even with 3,4m tide.
Nothing known. A lot of the Island is still untouched forest and you can walk almost free everywhere.
