Clogwyn y Ddysgl is situated high up on the south side of the Pass above Cwm Glas and even further from the road than Cyrn Las. This is very much a place for those who want to experience quiet multi-pitch mountain routes in isolation as it is seldom busy. The crag itself is quite broken and disjointed, but the routes described here make the best of what is on offer. An ascent of one route will take most parties several hours which, when combined with the approach walk, can give a long and satisfying day. Make sure you leave yourself enough time and prepare for a full day out with clothing, food and water.
From Llanberis, head up and through Nant Peris. About 300m past the last house is a lay-by on the left. If full then use the park and ride in Nant Peris. Walk up to the galvanised bridge and follow the path up the side of the farm/cottage and across another bridge of railway sleepers. From here, take a faint path up left along the side of the stream and follow it uphill until it flattens off in the cwm below Cyrn Las. Carry on up the side of Cyrn Las, past some easy scrambling, and into Cwm Glas below the impressive Parson's Nose.
