Really struggled in the chimney

Was pretty spicy with only one #4

So fun having the two cracks. Wanted to spit you off most of the way though.

Steep, but with a number of good rests.

Nice laybacking. Harder than it looks. Foot slipped in the lower part. Should definitely try again and in lead next time I am in Indian creek.

Very good route. Starts with a hard move from the ground then hand jams up to a left facing crack that can be laybacked. At the end of the crack dynamic move to good hold and mantling up a ledge.

Gear was already in. Very nice route double crack with nice hand and foot jams. Good resting positions, because there are perfect jams and feet sometimes.

Very nice lay backing crack / corner. Just needed to put some cams at the bottom that needed to be collected before by @mf . Otherwise the gear was already in the route.

Very nice route. Starts with a not so easy face climb, then a hand crack up to the roof. In the roof you climb a ledge to the top. Needed to take a size 5 cam in the roof to pull with me for not swinging out of the root when falling.

Lieback, looks easier from below than it actually is.

Hand crack turning into off-fingers which you can lieback on a small protruding part of the crack. The crack curves right, making for better holds, then there is a final jump or far reach to the right edge of the block.

Nice lieback. Had to collect some cams from below because I didn't have enough.

Didn't have quite enough jam endurance for the hand crack leading up to the traverse under the roof. After the hand crack, you traverse to the left on a big crack going (cam size 5) up and to the left. I also couldn't climb the traverse without hanging, I was too focused on sliding along the two 5.0 cams we had. The route looks (and is) amazing.

Flashed the 11+ to the first chains, and it looks like the party is just getting started there.

Had a bad time. I don’t know if this counts as an offwidth (was told it’s not), but I do know that I went up with two 5’s and a 6 and basically shat myself from pure terror.

So yea, it’s probably an offwidth.
