Ascensioni in World come Working

Hold broke and generally wet.

Thought I was on something else so I mostly climbed off route. Went around to the left on P1 (5.8). Climbed most of P2 but traversed over to the left before the final moves lowering the grade slightly. Worked on the crux sequence of P3 (BEAUTIFUL!). Aid climbed 10-12m after the crux and freed the rest. Rappelled from the anchor of P3

Didn't try the top pitch.

Rope solo. I used the training anchor at ground level as my ground anchor. Linked the first two pitches to save effort. At the 3rd anchor I could just not work out how to get to the second of tufa above the cave to get to the next bolt. Looked like a few pretty exposed moves with a potentially very nasty fall swinging left, decided discretion was the better part of valour. Really enjoyed the 3rd pitch and the rest looks fun too, but probably better with a belayer. Next time hopefully.

Decided to rapp down after pitch 4 as we didn't want to do the last pitch in dark. Also learnt that unfrequented long trad lines wondering on sometimes seemingly blank limestone walls can be very time consuming to navigate and be mentally challenging.. This route gave me a moment of pondering to myself about why the hell im out here.. But afterwards cherishing the moments and craving to do it all again. Led pitches 2 and 4 which were both great! Mostly found lots of good pro on my pitches and I sure made use of all of it. Sadly we probably didn't do the best part, The top 2 pitches, and are keen to return for that.

3rd pitch (5a) failed (hang dog). Crux pitch (6a) went wrong way at the end

Shade covered the first four pitches of the route by 12:11 PM

First pitch is really nice but not easy to onsight. Pretty continuous throughout the route. Second pitch felt very hard with odd moves along the way. Made my way up to the anchor pulling on some qds along the way.

Crux commitment is terrifying.

Roof exit hard to find, very beautiful

Around V11 to even just get your feet into the roof, very very hard and attempted to get both feet into the roof a good 100 times, managed it somewhat once or twice but immediately exploded off the holds. Very very hard to establish. Landing flooded in around 2016 and usually has a good 20cm of water underneath.
