Up to the cave is tricky for 13, especially down low (on the bolts). Wander right over to the corner on the ledge about 10m up - we linked P1 and 2, belaying off of the double rings in the cave. Round the outside the cave was good, this is when it started feeling like less 14/15 and more 13! Nice crack and face holds. One size 4 took me most of the way up this pitch.

Linked P1 and P2 beautiful climbing with the hardest moves off the deck, the cave was a nice belay out of the sun and 10 degrees cooler which was nice. P3 was a nice flowy layback flake lovely route would recommend, take 6s if you dont like runout

Fun route, as for the big pro on the second pitch, I had a single 4 and thought it was fine. If you're a bit timid at the grade you might want to bring a second 4 or a 5. There are ample placements for bigger gear if you want to bring it, but it isn't explicitly necessary.

Spectacular and fun route, although more like a 14 or 15. Some route beta: Make sure to follow the description and traverse right after the corner. Following the carrots going up will lead you off-route. Definitely link the two first pitches. Protection in the cave is hard to find, having some slings might help.

The start is definitely spicier than a 13. Plus forgetting bolt plates on top made it more interesting but made do. Linked p1&2. P3 ended up traversing outside the cave as wasnt too sure about climbing in the cave without placing good gear. Really fun!

What a fun climb! Pitch 1 was a absolutely not grade 13 climbing at the start and pro was a bit sparse at parts. The tree does not exist, it is beyond dead and loose, linking pitches 1+2 is the only way forward. A very suspect flake is located just before the suspect tree, will probably go at some point as it's a major hold for the traverse. Top of pitch 2 had a great fridge climb toe jam section that I rate. Pitch 3 is through the cave, no pro and no other option if you want to really climb cave climb. Absolutely the money pitch and super fun, definitely recommend it!

Fantastic and unique cave pitch, crawling into the depths of the earth. You can happily take and use all your large protection. Big cams #3 → #5, big hexes etc. Access is rap in (50m should be fine), climb out, so very convenient. Stay safe getting to the exposed abseil point.

amazing, good day out. Needed big pro, went up through cave- thrutchy goodness! little chossy, first pitch direct start a little unprotected. Second pitch all beautiful #4, the rock is not great on the roof traverse on the last pitch… a little unnerving but all fine in the end. Great to have #5, #6 helpful. Thank you mira ❤️

Lead all pitched, started on the direct start but move at 2nd bolt looked really big for grade 14, so switched back to regular start. With generous use of extendies drag was not too bad and still linked p1 & 2. Everything was easy but some very big runouts at times definitely needs doubles of 4's and a 5. Lots of fun though, but would make for a spicy first trad lead

Seconded the whole route. The leader had 2 #4 cams but would have liked a few more. Direct start with bouldery move to make the second ledge above the new carrot on left. Linked P1 and P2 and at the middle of P2 went out to the face on the right to avoid offwidth and then back. P3 is superb going outside the cave with good gear in crack and climbing on the face up the jugs. We left abseil rope in place and it didn't interfere with the climbing

Climbed as two pitches, the first direct to the cave and the second to the top. Plenty of fun with a cool little cave section. Can probably be comfortably climbed with 2 number 4 cams. The start is stiff at the grade IMO but very doable.

Absolute classic! Really fun climb in a beautiful part of the mountains. If doing the original start like I did, please be careful of the orange death block after the third carrot bolt. There was chalk on it so it must have only recently become loose. I stayed low and traversed across the low angle slab before moving up to build a belay.

The approach was hard to find!! The relevant car park you're looking for looks a bit like a small turn around bay that a few cars can park in (on the right but AFTER a recognisible green gate on the left side of the road). The track leaves the road on the right hand side but the cairn is about half a metre off the road so can be hard to spot even though its a knee height sized cairn. The climb itself - great fun!! Love caves long time

The tree at the top of the “first pitch” has been dead for ages. This is really a two pitch climb. Three stars for the novelty factor.

Fixed rap line in. Linked P1 & P2 to cave, bolt belay. P3 climbed outside of cave and up to finish, carrot bolt belay @ top. Used bigger pro mainly inc. a big hex.. 2x #4 & 3 would be ideal. Awesome climb 3 star!

Great climb. Start is a little hard, one or two moves of modern grade 18 IMO and the rest is a fun romp. The cave is awesome.

Gear: doubles BD#0.5 to BD#4, couple of single length slings, 4 hangers, QDs. Singles in the smaller sizes would be fine. (-33.7325556, 150.2840833) is indeed the trailhead. Follow track down and rightish before a short rock descent and then left through a cave... We went left too early and crossed the waterfall. Took us a while to get our bearings but we spotted the chains and backtracked. ~40m fixed line rap off chains. P1 crux start to traverse R, grab arete then carrots going up. Another carrot then traverse right on flake. Tree is not trustworthy, linked up P2 crack to cave with 2xBD#4. However, the rope drag was heinous despite runners - long traverse with many corners for the rope to get caught on. DRBB and comfortable space for two. P3 up inside the front of the cave to high first BD#4. Left wall of hole was wet. Follow crack up with #3 and #4 then move L to chains. Note: P3 is convex so once you pass your pro the rope will want to dislodge it. Maybe a judicious redirect well outside the crack would help? Even with extensions and back cleaning the rope drag was terrible again. Overall nice climb and not too wet given the recent rain, but too much rope drag (possibly my fault) for it to feel classic.

Great climb though the 3rd pitch outside the cave is by far the most glorious. P1 is a sandbag and P2 is hairy unless you're racking big pro. Take a couple of big pieces (#4), unless you're a sadist, then don't.

Will linked P1 & 2 together; also definitely the only way to do it. Hard-ish start and didn't seem very easy overall (for the grade), but still enjoyable! P3 was the money and was just super pleasant the whole way. Do plug a #4 early if you have one, I was holding onto mine hoping to plug it at the top but there aren't any placements for it up high!

Tried the direct start. Not much chop. Belayed pitch 1 from lower down but it was still pretty crap. Probably needs two #4 cams for the whole climb to make things ideal.

Only had 1 bolt plate (derp). Didn't really need them though. Dicked around for too long at first belay- think I climbed too high (don't follow carrots just because they're there...)- Seemed it would be better belaying under the dead tree. Everything else was smooth sailing.
