Ascents of Sjöjungfrun

very pumpy for a 6a+. Could probably send on second go, but did not have time anymore. Good holds but sometimes a bit confusing to find

Very tired as the last route of the long day and very pumpy route indeed. Midway read route wrong and used some hard 7b traverse moves instead so rested on the rope. At the top unclipped and jumped down from the tiny ledge into the sea! Such an amazing feeling. Can't believe my friend Shaun Hurrell soloed this route, such a crazyman

Onsight (deep water) solo grade S3. Above rock for the first few metres - no fall zone - (where you could maybe push off and land in the water if you needed to bail) but after the overhang it feels a lot safer as it sticks out above the water after the route veers left again higher up. Would need to push out if falling off though. Safer higher up. Amazing route, rather pumpy for the grade. There's a great mini-ledge by the anchor to jump from down into the water
