Ascents in Toohey Forest by Kwan Goddard Lee

What an absolute mission. Third shot of the day but got very close on the first shot but had an absolutely heartbreaking fall.

Full disclosure I started with the lower footer on unleash the dancer and went down to jugs at the start of smoke and mirrors before the top out. I'm looking forwards to coming back and trying some different beta too. Definitely still feels like the hardest problem I've ever done. It's certainly the problem that's taken me the longest. Thanks heaps to everyone who's worked this problem with me but especially Alex Mougenot Liam Sutcliffe Alexander Jones Josh notlongnotstrong you guys are deadset legends.

So close yet so far

Only had 30 mins today before we were shooed off by a construction worker. Felt pretty good but need some more endurance.

Made some pretty good progress. Linked to the end from just before the kick through for the first time.

Feel strong enough after the first move to move up my feet but haven't landed the right foot on the critical footer.

Not enough skin today

Managed to stick the first move. Moving the feet from that position seems really hard.

The move to the heel toe cam is pretty challenging. Will need to give it everything for the send

Climbed it in crocs so I guess that makes me a croc climber. I'm pretty happy calling this a V3 and not a V4.

This thing is hard

On the softer side of V7.

Edit: I gave it about 10 shots this morning. Josiah Hess reckons it's a V5 let's split the difference. Feels harder than chug and the fatmat traverse to me but I'm not game to give it a personal grade. Changed the ascent grade from V7 to V6.

Honestly I reckon this is a V3. It's harder than most V3s I've done in Tooheys.

Really cool problem. You can mantel directly from the sloper and crimpy jug at the lip.

Feels closer to V7 than V8 in my limited experience. Really nice flowy problem regardless of the grade.

Five attempts or so. The crux is really puzzling.

After giving it around 15 attempts it went last shot of the night. I still can't believe it went. What an amazing route. Slopey thuggy goodness.

Went a little towards the right. I'm not sure if I was off route but it surely wouldn't be a V2 mantling straight up.
