Ascents as Hang dog by Lean Listerine

Heartbroken to drop the onsight throwing for the last move, after being on the wall for 15 minutes; faffing around with gear and getting too pumped. Turns out none of this matters since I've apparently seconded this already. Good times

got through to last two bolts on flash burn, clipping positions felt a little droppable, so ended up sitting. i didnt really hang around much and still got pumped asf. felt chill enough once i took a sit; from the ground will be a bit dicey, with the redpoint crux right where you will deck out if you fumble.

Clipping positions were a little off in general, maybe this was bolted by a 6"9 +7 ape behemoth; or maybe I just couldnt figure the beta; as it was: me on my tiptoes, arms full span, fingernails scraping the biner, hitting the draw so it hopefully pendulums back into my outstretched fingers, praying to the moss gods for mercy, hearing the long dead tree below, calling for me to join him.

tldr: got pumped, nice line, would recommend

will go next burn; fumbled with gear on the onsight, then 2nd burn received a spicy catch; becoming more well-acquainted with the wall than I ever thought possible, and likely more than was necessary; will return for glorious vengeance once my right side is less tenderized/blue

would go clean next try I think, but I doubt I'll ever comeback here to find out. definitely not 3 star, especially considering the freycinet calibre. Good movement if you're into bouldering, but both cruxes are right above ledges, so isn't exactly pleasant.

we set up a counter balance rappel to lower, apparently it is not super confidence inspiring, so maybe bring some tat.

first cam i ever placed was on this baby. thrown from below, caught by fumbling me, then blindly placed and subsequently sat down onto.

i recall it immediately skating out; only to mercifully catch right at the edge, lobe tips visible.

will have to come back to get it done.
