Got a bit lost on this as a warm up

Somehow thought this was eat carpet, and tried to warm up on it, got flash pumped through the crux and got super frustrated thinking I was having a battle on a 15, when really I’m just and idiot

Stiff and spoogey, tore open my finger and backed down off the lead, got clean on first TR attempt

Nice climb with good protection. Thoughtful sequence before a bold crux. Fluffed the crux but pulled through in the next attempt and will get it clean next time.

First trad attempt, so close so close.

Nice moves, glad we stopped for couple of climbs.

Hangover session, got pumped and messed up the sequence.

Good laybacking moves, unfortunately had to take a rest because the #5 cam got really stuck when trying to clean the route

Best day of weather I have had climbing in Alice Springs so far as a south easterly blew in lows of 10-28 degree days, meaning we could climb until 1pm. I on-sighted this on top rope a couple weeks ago so thought I would try leading it with gear already placed by Luke. Different game this time around but not because of fear, I think I onsighted it last time as my first climb of the day and this time was my last of the day after failing (mixing up sequences and pumping out) a couple times on Hyerba Burger. WTFIA just seemed a lot more vertical (and horizontal) and my hands didn't work the first time so I fell after placing the final bit of gear. Disappointed (and I thought I was actually cooked), I just muscled through the final section with a lot of grunting and yelling.

Really enjoyed the challenge and different head game that lead climbing presents. I'll get this next week if I can manage someone placing gear before me.

Made it right to the final hold first go but couldn't manage to stick the hands. Had a rest and then did it all again to finally get through.

First go at this grade and it felt great despite having to rest on the rope at the crux (but didn't fall). Fun climb, similar to the adjacent 'Left most line' (19), which has a lower grade. Series of good hand holds and high foot placements.

Fun series of underclings, high steps, and decent jugs amongst flakey rock (look out below!). Great conditions before the suns comes out without the humidity. I'll be back!

Dogged on this about 15 times over two visits before sticking the early crux. Great fun. I reckon it's harder than a 17. Top roped only this time.

Top roped

Pumped out negotiating the death blocks pulling the roof. If these were gone it would be border line classic. Exciting runout to the finish above an average nut.

Some great moves, had an enjoyable play on toprope. Probably >22

Friends don't let friends climb cracks.

The guide describes this as Tricky moments. Great moves to the third bolt then runout to good nut placements above. Solid rock by NT standards. Had many shots, couldn't stick the crimpy moves above the 3rd on lead.

Dogged. Had to have a laugh at the D shackle and homemade hanger. DBB no longer exists.

a few loose flakes near the top add an element!

Goal is to do this clean next time!
