Past 1st pitch, both stood on 1m sandstone slab for photos. suddenly the whole thing shifted down for 5cm. Be aware of the loose stuff up there, even if it looks solid and heavy.

Well that was awesome. Struggled a little initially trying to extricate myself from the chimney in P1 (no joke, I couldn't push my biceps up and out of one part, "I'm too massive for this pitch!"). The money pitch 2 was a tad frightening in the off-width, and being 6'3" my head was basically buried in my crotch for the traverse so the only exposure I got was in my groin. P3 was a bit burly. Awesome climbing

I rated it "Good" because it's widely regarded as a classic. It's not my cup of tea. You know how funny those online videos are of dogs getting their head stuck in a trash can? That's the equivalent of Pitch 2. I felt like an asthmatic contortionist. Dear god, who likes this stuff?

Great way to finish a great weekend! It really is a special time when you get to place your first #6! Pitch one was harder than anticipated and got myself stuck in the crack and had to down climb to adjust. Pitch 2 - offwidth was more of a slab for me with no off width skills required. Protected it with the #5 and #6 - walking them up a bit. Put a revolver on the carrot in the corner but rope drag wasn't too bad and used a yellow and green for the traverse. Well worth doing. Pitch 3 was a struggle. Awkward move to place a 3# form not a great stance then a complete absence of elegance to mantle up and place a #4 as a directional for the tree belay. Found the crack was too big for the #6. Didn't know the best rap station to use so an uncomfortable walk down in climbing shoes to retrieve my pack followed the climb.

This is really epic, and well worth doing. Pitch 1 is pretty good, but there's this "man trap" where you get inside the chimney and kind of can't get out even though you have jugs because your shoulder gets stuck. Hard to explain! Having a #5 is mandatory, and too be honest a #6 would make you feel safer in pitch 2, but I only used a #5. My first real offwidth, which I climbed with the grace of a pregnant sloth and by jamming my whole left leg. The traverse under the roof is beautiful, but so awkward, you never see where to place gear. Pitch 3 is a little bit shit I think...

Fantastic and super weird. My mates suggested renaming to 'Revenge of the dwarves' as 2nd pitch is super awkward if you are tall, or even average height... Take big cams (#5 and #6) and shoes you don't regret wrecking smearing up 2nd pitch. 3rd pitch is not worth doing, you can rap off 2nd pitch with a 60m rope.

Great climb! The traverse out under the roof pumped me out. Good gear in an exposed setting made it a memorable climb!

Couldn't find any protection for the off width/mantle for the 3rd pitch. Was not comfortable doing the moves (looked easy) with a possible 6m factor 2 fall into the old sling anchors so we rapelled down from there. The old sling/chordalette looks manky but it's either than or surrender 2 bolt plates on rusty old carrots.

Finally jumped on this! I lead the first pitch, linking up the off width. A big cam keeps it somewhat sane. Rory lead the space walk pitch. For some reason we had a backpack thinking it would be some kind of multi day epic, huge mistake. Had to pass up the bag in order to get up from the traverse.

This is the younger sibling of Telstar. Every move of the Second pitch is amazing and pretty unique. Slabby offwidth you can bump a #6 all the way up, to cramped air walk with bomber jams to rebirthing yourself onto a ledge of joy. Rapped of the fixed sling after pitch 2. I even didn't mind the first pitch.

Epic adventure and a huge challenge. Offwidth technique definitely needs work. Traverse was amazing and terrifying. Not sure about the third pitch. The chimney seemed impossible. Ended up pulling over the overhang on the left.
