Amazing to see what a few months of training can do, the boulder-y start didn't give me any issues this time round and it went smoothly second shot. No individual stopper moves, just pumpy

Stoked, everything came together just right

4th shot of the day. Went up with new beta from Ben and zero expectations, which seemed to do the trick. Both me and my forearms were screaming before it was over.

Kinda difficult to grade, because the moves aren't individually very challenging but the crimping is so so sustained. I was trying bloody hard though, so I'm gonna take a soft 28!

3rd shot of the day, a classic test piece. Ben figured out some sneaky undercling beta for the start that worked for me, then I fell off going for the final jug twice... good endurance training I guess

Great face climbing that gradually increases in difficulty to the roof, then a few hard moves before some welcome jugs

Bit of a surprise! Didn't feel like I did the start in the most efficient way, but managed to milk the rest up high for all it was worth before the crimpy headwall. Insanely fun route

Didn't bother rehearsing the very top on my first go and immediately regretted it when I arrived there on my second shot. Thankfully managed to make something up on the fly.

The span at the top is super shouldery and tough if you're short, I found kicking my left foot out and getting high feet first helped a lot. Great moves the whole way and a few kneebars too!

Total classic with a bit of everything, steep jugs and techy face

Great to come back and tick off an old dog in a day. At 5 foot nothing, 27 seems a fair grade - the last few moves before the traverse feel like a tension-y Moonboard problem at full span

Everything about this climb is so fun - first time I've legitimately used a toe hook on a route, a bat (calf?) hang rest + a crazy double dyno (for me, Ben could static it) at the very end. Really enjoyed the process of unlocking the beta

Pretty straight forward after the initial boulder problem

Top half is spectacular and engaging; would be mega classic if not for the gross start to get to it

Pump central, turns out 3 months of only bouldering isn't great for the endurance levels. Lots of Darth Vader-esque breathing to get through this one

Definitely a highlight of the trip, great face climbing reminiscent of the Bluies

Couldn't resist the temptation to try one more time before heading back to Sydney. Went first shot, making for a very satisfying end to the trip
