This route was kinda dissapointing. It's only hard in 2 places and has some grotty, iffy rock. Barely a 1 star route. The start would be really dangerous on lead - if you fell off the crux, you are going to crater into the white slabby corner or the ground. If you get through the crux, there's still no gear anyway. The top bit that the guide says is run out is at least safe.

Fell at crux after fiddling on the very fiddly crux pieces. Then climbed to next piece, lowered and sent danny up. Pp it next go.

With Cate and Ben. From up on Hum terrace Ben said he lived the whole thing with me. I abandoned at dusk having put in two valiant efforts and enjoyed two decent freefalls. An excellent route and one I'll definitely come back for.

Fun. On the easier side of 20 but in saying that there are plenty of grade 19s out there that are easier than this. With Karen, who loved the overhang.

I don't love this route as much as others it would seem. Gear can be fiddly if you don't spot the right placements. Rings are to the R in a little cave - easy to miss.

Seems very stout at grade 20. At the finish, going up the arete just right of corner seemed to be a great option (rather than the corner itself). Anchor was further right than indicated in the current topo... but maybe I missed it.

Great climb. Beautiful varied moves the whole way, but was sure glad to get a piece in at the top of the slab. A highlight of the week.

Committing crux moves out of the cave and up to the roof, but lots of gear available just before there. Lovely traverse moves out under the roof, then easier climbing up the corner. Only placed cams up to BD #1, I think.

Spent longer cleaning the last nut afterwards than actually climbing! Somehow got my nut tool hilariously stuck for a while. Okay but forgettable climb otherwise.

Tried to get gear mid crux... no dice.. fumed as puck, couldn’t down climb to ledge... whipped. Nice climb tho! I’d say 17 is potentially more accurate?

I'm glad I jumped on top rope as I could see myself pumping out quite quickly trying to work out going straight up over the bulge. I'll come back for the lead next time I am in the area.

I wasn't humming at the crux. Start is unlikely looking but not too hard to plug the first big cam. crux traverse is a scary proposition though. Eases considerably after that.
