One to test the endurance of the leader! Picking the way through some questionable holds, and the occasional one that crumbles keeps the heart racing. Couldn't trust a hold around half way and took the fall. Lowered back to the anchor to collect the radio and went back up, making it even longer! Has some great moves and technical sequences, worth getting on. Will go back for the full send later in the year.

Techy slab for a few bolts and then gets nice and easy. Pitch 2 and 3 can be linked to give two nice long pitches. | 110m, 15 | |||||

Pete lead the first two pitches with some mad long run out (definite ground fall potential on the first pitch). At the end of the second pitch short on time we decided to retreat to avoid climbing over some wet slimy rock. Still got some good views and fun in tho!

bailed after the second pitch. only started mid afternoon once the wall was in shade.
water runoff and big runouts made progress way slower than expected. wanted to avoid having an epic so just called it |

Ran out of light and w/out headtorches atop the 1st pitch. Sweet pitch! Reminded me of Bluies face climbing in places. Poor rope drag management down low, and a slight quickdraw deficiency made for an interesting ascent, which is well summarised in Peatey's log. A great day out!

I made it to the top of the 4th pitch clean when a big rainstorm drenched the mountain causing the traction to disappear. The rock was slick as ice and it was difficult to rig abseils back down without slipping and falling off the belay ledges. Safe return, all was well. We'll definitely attempt this again, it was good fun!

Went for a cruisy day up blabbermouth but it was very busy. We were under prepared for anything else but decided to give this a go.The first pitch as for sunburnt buttress was lovely, and the chimney was easy to protect. The second pitch was pretty loose in spots, unfortunately the micro cams were left in the car and the nut placement was not heartening enough to protect the run out from the 4th to 5th bolt, so bailed..

Fantastic first pitch. P2 bit scary with lose rock. Pitch 3 is a ripper - couldn't do it clean tho, I was a jibbering mess by the end of it. P4 should have been enjoyable, but my nerves were pretty shot by then and the 10m run out from 2-3 FH didn't help much, neither did the crumbly rock. Got lost on P5, with 2 sets of FHs leading off, then ran out of light 2/3 the way up, belayed David up, then finished it easily with a headlamp. What a terrific finish tho, the lights glowing in the distance on an incedibly balmy night. A 3* classic.
