Routes in Halls Gap Area

Thin route just right of the block on the ground. Stand start on matching crimps and move up to high top out.

The easy arete is climbed from a sit.

Fridge hug up the buttress.

Starts 5m right of “Out of Lockdown” corner. Up the cleaner streak in the moss to ledge at around 5m. Can belay here or continue up in one pitch. Up face right of “Out of Lockdown” and finishing at the anchor. DBB

From the centre of the wall L of the Chow Su Pow chimney follow the thin left leaning diagonal crack up to the left arête. Up the left arête to the rooflet. Step up and left through the rooflet.

Now has an independent start. Start as for Silvertop but climb the line of bolts R of Silvertop. Continue R up rising traverse to anchors. Crimpy Goodness.

Located on the backside of the larger boulder, near where the two boulders touch. Sit start the left crack.

Stand start above a covered hole at the right end of the face. Climb the short face above.

Climb the face 2 metres right of the arete.

Sit start on the same holds as Over The Moon. Move left, then straight up to top out.

10m right of Mother's Day is a short left facing corner crack. Jam corner to big ledge. Move right a few metres. Pull up the blank slab into the corner (a hard move for short people). Follow the corner system up right to a good ledge with lower offs.

Is this the Weill's favourite time of the year? Looks unlikely for the grade (and, obviously, could be spoogey). Sit start off LH undercling and RH side-pull then go up the blunt arete.

To the right of Runnel Trouble. Stand start and climb the vertical face/slab on gym-like edges balancing your way up.

Can be done from a sit-start at the same grade for full value.

Up the slab wall left of Courtyard Arete.

L leaning seam starting 3m R of The Stand.

Best approached from the top of Silent Reach. An excellent steep crack climb if you can find it. The climb is on the back of the next pinnacle immediately uphill from SR. Descend a short distance down the gully behind SR, then up and L in the next gully to the foot of the clean crack.

A nice route. Start at the base of Pig Tail. Edge right, then up and traverse right to the dubious block on the arête. Continue around right and up.

Classic. Stand start on small crimp edges, move left into corner and make a committing few moves up to large holds to top out.

Middle of wall, topout on jug to the right.

Stand start just right of tree, finishing via a desperate mantel.

Right arete of west face. Jump start to jug then finish up the grey face above

Starts a few metres right of The Rutting Season. Climb the line and overhang to finish.

Obvious arete line of bulgy sidepulls, trending slightly left. Stand start and follow the crack/arete to high top out. Descent is committing and may require pads/spotters.

Techy bridging that follows seams up the groove to the left of Immersion.

Sit start, left hand split pocket and right side pull. Pull up to sloper, few technical moves. Trend left for nice finish. Stand start goes at V2.

Just left of TFOTL is this mega project on fire orange bullet proof rock. Stand start on obvious side pull hold, beast your way up and left through a series of small holds and powerful movements. Was an Ollie Miller project when he was a Grampians man. Estimated V14~ish

From the centre of the wall L of Chow Su Pow follow the thin crack up to the horizontal break. Step right and then up the steep juggy runnel above. Looks very unlikely for the grade.

Doesn't look like much but packs in some hard technical climbing. From a desperate sit start off side pulls climb the boulders nose past increasingly sloping holds.

Sit Start under the flake. Go straight up. Interesting climb.

Start Low on Slopers at Aréte trend left then Dyno for the lip

Start super low under the prow and climb powerfully into BWDM.

Sit start on crimps, head left and up through gaston and crimp to a high top out.

Grovel through the narrowing passageway to a squeeze at the end.

Take care of the drop on the other side.
