Ascents in Hillwood (private land)

Committed to a head-high heel hook through the start Boulder, and it worked well. Then a good shake on a jug, then pumpy climbing with a hard-if-you're-pumped sloper move higher up. Wandered a bit right at 3/4 high into the RH route but came back in and finished up the middle. Agree with OG, could be a touch soft for 26 but I'm taking this one

Punchy, fun, with delightful jugs - a stellar route. Stoked to keep it together on this one!

Fantastic climbing. Was very happy with the o/s.

Nice little route with the hardest climbing at the bottom in the 24 section. I did a big press-up into an undercling crimp which probably added a grade or two. There is an easier sequence but it's still harder than the 25 extension.

Definitely one of the best climbs at hillwood.

In the late afternoon sun on a hot day - the rock was very warm! Slopey for a couple of bolts then easy!

A bit crimpy but not too hard - warmed up on it cos it was coming out of the shade as we arrived.

Draws were on. Very enjoyable rock climb

First 24 OS. Bouldery, then technical with not great rests. Feels like a lot of climbing for 9m!

It's all there, you just have to hope you find them before you pump out.

Bloody magnificent!! Doesn't let up from clipping the first bolt to clipping the last one. Put me own draws on, too!

Excellent. Natural gearbstraightforward. Micro cams for first crack, mid sized wires for top. Almost pumped off the top.

Intense from bolt 3 to 5. Im not sure how I didnt fall off. Brutal crux sequence on sidepulls with poor feet moving right to and past bolt 4.

Tough start with Sun in eyes, then eased off

Awesome long route. Some of the blocks are a bit scary but everything seems keyed in.

Gaetan got stick clip stuck. Had to batman to get it off. Long sustain, loose holds, undercling fest + finger jamming goodness. Kept me entertained.

Start was hard, then it layed off a little. Pumpy for the length, like all the routes here it seems.

The Guidebook grade seemed accurate( But maybe just because crack climbing isn't my thing) Nice climbing....couldn't find the loose blocks everyone talks about....
