Hard and fingery

After burning up Hermes for a warmup, Johannes onsighted this like it was nothing and I seconded it like an 85kg haul-bag. F***ing Europeans. Did unlock all the moves though. Must try it on lead.

Put a 30cm sling on the bolt but still not quite enough to pull through the crux on the slightly lichenous hold. Remind me to move the bolt down and brush the holds next time!

This route's got it all... Gastons, crimps, jugs and fingerlocks. Take your tiny cams and smallest wires.

Not bad after you pull on the first bolt. Feels a bit runnout getting to the second bolt, even with the dubious gear.

Pitches one and two only, finishing up 'Take it all'. Fun slabbing!

Another excellent route. Watch out for the hollow block near the top. Good to have the draws clipped, thanks Jamie!

Great moves. Thin and balancy, with at least 2 no-hands rests. Only the bolts you need, and no more

Dropped the onsight at the last hard move, failing to get back to the arête

two solo laps, figured out all moves and links. reckon this will go before illusionary lines.

awful today - it had felt reasonably dialed on TR solo so I thought i'd go for the lead. took three substantial falls before second bolt and left with tail between legs

One of the best lines in Canberra. People with skinny fingers and good touch with the feet will enjoy this one.

So close to getting it onsight but popped a foot while clipping.

This is definitely a classic - a striking line with excellent movement . Goes fairly easily with good footwork and body positioning.

Sharp... Can work all the moves on lead but keep taking a slip getting past second bolt!

What a classic climb! Can work all the moves, crux is definitely the finger crack after the open corner just need to bite down an get it done

Can send the top 12mts each time just have to work on finger locks for the crux

It blows my mind that Roark did this in 1980. What a legend!

This route has a couple of flaws but it's hard to argue with the awesomeness of an overhanging orange wall, mostly on gear, up in the middle of the North Buttress.

Clipping the bolt involves a slightly scary reach. Anyone shorter than about 175cm will need a reachy-clippy draw, and honestly, it's probably a good idea for tall people too.

2nd attempt got ground to the crux with a take then took it to the top - maybe not as far off as I thought
