Took a few attempts to sort out feet and commit to top. Decided to avoid mantle and traverse/down climb

A really beaut line in a fantastic setting.

phwoah! Got to the arete clean and fumbled around here for an age learning moves and milking the rest. Threw for it and ended up dangling. Another class Coffs route.

It was gonna be hard to top yesterday but this almost did it. What a sick route!

A tough, spacey 20. Was cool to have Arty on-hand to shout us up it.

..but then I remebered this thinig was here and so we had to have a burn. clean until the last clip and then pumped out again.

Pretty sure it's been 8 years since Al first coaxed me up this thing. Since then I'd come close a few times and got shut down on various other occassions. It was a very sweet moment to finally get up this thing. Second shot of the day - YEEEEWWW!

It was all going so well and then my forearms decided they'd had enough for the day...This thing is high quality!

The block was a bit wet and spoogie today.

Got it on my third very pumpy attempt.

Pfffft, what the....? Could hardly get started on this and did not make it to the first bolt

Wow, cool cruxy sequence through the middle. I reckon the heat + humidity added some serious spooge factor to this route.

Retreated before last hold on first attempt.

Despite good rain for the previous 48 hours this was bone dry. Good to give it a burn.

Maybe it was the increased sand level (?) but I found this harder than V2. Bearing down on crimpers and a tiny footer made it a strong move up in to the undercling. From here the finish up the arete was a little more straight forward.
