Ascents in Canberra

The better-than-expected finish from the ledge bumped the original grade from an 11 to a 13. Nice climbing.

Easy enough to onsight, sketchy enough to make you excited. My new favourite (new) climb at Sewer (some of the harder climbs @ Cave Routes give it a run for its money, but this is more sustained)

A bloody good climb!

Niblo has been quite aggressively 'cleaned' this climb is different from the picture now and so are several others.

Rope-Soloing at Red Rocks never gets old. Mucked around with far-end hauling systems for big wall soloing.

Damn. Made it easily to the last ledge but, after a few hours scrubbing & bolting, didn't have much left to give the finish. Outstanding climb to there though

Hard finish. Tapped the anchor but couldn't figure out how to clip it (weird last stance) so took the whipper. Crux moves at the end feel harder than 20 but then again how often do I face-climb

pretty sure I'd ticked this one previously.

Bit soft for the grade pulling through the roof

Interesting with a heavy pack, kinda dull otherwise.

Psyched to finally tick this bad boy. Sweet trad line. Great gear all the way up the crack, roof and seam until the face-climbey exit. Now to go to work.
