One go at end of session, hard start!

super cool little mono and pocket move above first bolt - then to hand jammy traverse and slopey pocket which I could get past with a few attempts. Super chill finish.

Flunked at the crux bazillion times. Right hand wasn’t ready for the crimpfest.

Ouch!

Beta - The crux is on the lower bit (pretty easy to spot cause there are various big holds, parallel to each other, and full of chalk). Grab the two decent ones far to the right. There is a pretty high (but decent) left foothold for a rock-over. Then, go left hand way up to the left, then switch right hand into an undercling on the same feature/hold. Then keep going up with left hand far to the left.

Felt a bit uncomfortable, I'll have to retry this. The anchors are directly above a tree, so you get lowered into it.

Got confused with what I remembered from the climb, desperately looked for a non existing hold

Crimped so hard I twitched a nerve in my shoulder 😤

No idea how I sent the second crux, couldn't figure out the moves this time.

Real tricky crux with poor crimps and terrible feet. Found a beta which might go whcih I'll try next time.

Very first move is my favourite bit of this climb. So fun Move above the third last bolt cannot figure, aimed for a pocket dynamically. It was a bad idea, static worked out well on later attempt. Also, lives up to the name- got my right shin on the sharp ledge RIP

Fell off the mantle at the second bolt on the first attempt. Hit the ledge on my ass, but very gently as all the force was taken by the rope by that point. Tried again without pulling the rope, got most of the way up before getting pumped/scared and taking a rest.

Stick-clipped first bolt for Hyakatan's lead, then I followed on top rope.

Popped off a hold fairly low down, then did the rest in one go. Nice climbing, fun moves, quite sustained all the way to the anchor. Some of the clipping positions seem tricky so probably a fair bit pumpier on lead. Some rests which are probably great if you're better at resting than me. Nice big horizontal crack mid-way up makes for easy and secure jams even for someone as bad at crack climbing as myself.

Second attempt went downhill bc I forgot the sequence below the sandy handjams. Fell more than 3 times before I got back up and finally finished the climb.

Haven’t done many 19s although this climb felt very friendly. First bolt move was sick with semi layback climb, post penultimate struggled w sandy hand jams, obscure good crimps helped to stand up. Next red point incoming
