The weather has been great but I was a sleepy boy, I have the beta dialled in - il come back when I’m fresh and string it together.

Maybe 1 crux move away, it’s bloody tough.

Has been on the hit list for a while, I walk my dog around Knocklofty a lot so it always teased me.

The toughest part is not letting your mind race ahead saying ‘oh I’ve got this’, you still have to string 3 cruxes together.

Probably had the wrong beta, nice to give it a razz though. This is for you Tsevi Leib

A tiny change in beta made all the difference, first of the grade and not the last!

Overshot the final dead point hold at least 4 times, I’ve got this in the bag once my skin is better, pow pow.

Great climbing, bummed I didn’t get it but there’s always next time! Will definitely be wearing long pants for the kneebar

Can do all the moves, just need to stay focussed for the duration of the traverse!

This is hard but I think I know the beta now.

I think I had been starting from the wrong hold for about an hour until I realised, next trip !

Finally got there in the end, took 3 trips and some good beta but I’m chuffed!

Initial left hand crimp has broken off, replaced with equally difficult Gaston-esque crimp in the centre.

Grit and composure at the top due to heel hooks and balance. I skipped the obvious shelf to the left that would make it a million times easier.

This is a great climb! I can see how flexibility could help- I changed up my beta on the 6th go and got it done.

The moves up are locked in but I just cannot get that top out, slip and slide baby!

How’s that mobility ?
