Ascents in Frederick Peak having Beta

Happy to have found a nice warm up. While no move is particularly hard the climb is still engaging. In what appears to me to be the Frederick's Peak style often it's hard to tell which holds are good or bad until you actually touch them so you have to climb slowly and with control. Good fun.

Found this super tough but a great line.

Nearly hit the deck after breaking a hold down low. Lots of average rock on this route. Super sharp rock up high.

Awesome adventure with heaps of great climbing and a rad view at the summit.

Took a two shots to get this, was feeling tired at end of the day. Pretty tough moves over the lip and doesn't really give in till the anchors.

Blew the crux move twice. Feeling weak after kicking &bscreaming. Great route, will get it when its in the shade next time.

Super tough for me. Was a bit confused at the top as 3 routes come together.

Slipped off the akward moves at around mid height. Interesting climbing

Tricky cool climbing.

A lot of climbing packed into this short route. Tough and excellent climbing.

Fell off on the tough crux on the first shot. Worked the move and then came down and for it clean next shot. Super fun route.

This climb feels a little different to the others in the area, it has a great little style all of its own. It is a fun technical face climb. It has lots of really enjoyable delicate moves and follows a nice line of lovely clean solid rock. Quite sequency I think, too hard to onsite for me.

Much easier with the sequence but not a give away. Lots of nice crimps and balancy moves to keep the climb engaging.

Lovely pockets. short and dynamic, yet surprisingly pumpy.

Good test of endurance if this is near your grade limit! (maybe a 20?) I really liked this route - pretty consistent in intensity once off the slab! (logging old ascents)

Heinous getting over the buldge, fell on to the tree trying to go directly up to the finish instead of around.

Very nice warm-up route for the area. Started to the right off a boulder. Stick clip is nice, but ok without when you know the moves. (logging old ascents)

An absolutely fantastic route that has a bit of everything on beautiful orange rock. Easy for the grade once you know the moves but hard onsite due to a bit of pump and a few unobvious holds. Highly recommended.

A very punchy little crux on this one. The grade seems to come from one single very unique, fun and tough move up high. I tried it twice but may need to improve my undercling lock off strenght before I can get this one. The rest of the climb is cruisy but still very good quality.

Such a great little route. Really varied. Nice easy slab to start, pumpy jugs for a few moves in the middle and a nice short little crux to finish it up. Really enjoyable climbing.

Very solid 23 or slightly soft 24. Really nice, overhanging route on nice jugs and slopers.

The short top crux section on this climb is absolutely amazing. Such lovely moves on beautiful solid rock using incredible water scoops for holds. Although the start is not to hard it is still balancy and very enjoyable. Great, great, great. My favourite climb in Townsville so far.

A complete and utter lack of feet for parts of this. Cool dynamic move high up.

Although I wish this climb went for another 20 meteres I am greatful for what there is of it. Stellar climbing, especially for such a short little route.
