A Keira gem 'hidden' in plain sight! Very good face climbing, great sequences, great rock, and quite reasonable for the grade - which was a shock at Keira!

Finally after all these years on a cold windy day I find no bees on the route and I can tick this off! Absolutely bring a bolt plate and clip that first carrot or you are in some real high ball trouble for the first ring bolt.

Much better than the adjacent Shaven Stonehaven !

Left steep wall. A bit jumpy, with crimps.

Same. Jumpy, big moves, powerful hand-on-hand diagonal boulder move at top

Not happy about the bolt runout. Nearly 4m between some bolts. Combined with fragile rock made this an unhappy lead.

Beginners only.

Some good moves, but not good for top rope, particularly with the current anchors. Recommend bolts!

Short but quality bouldering fun! The extension over sandy slopers? No way Jose!

Perfect onsight! One of the best I have climbed at Stonehaven.

Funky! Maybe a bit too juggy and steep for 16. Not for beginners.

Made a hash of the slabby arete crux. Rest was OK

Pumpy. Tough if you are not 6ft tall.

Pretty thin and slabby down low. Started up mind games then ended up on travail which seemed a more logical path.

Little pumper! Very awkward clipping first 2 bolts, could do better next time. Suggest a stick clip next time!

Exploration!

Enjoyable romp. Pockets pockets and small ledges everywhere.

Not sure about the anchor strategy. 4 sets of anchor bolts above the lip!

Solid fun climbing, went well.

Conditions not good, damp particularly near the top at the sloper. Otherwise a good climb.

Not good conditions after rain, damp and very sandy. Route will get better over time, definitely harder then the other 18s nearby.

When you slip your hand into that good pocket and find it full of water!! Otherwise more enjoyable and easier then the route to the left.

Unfortunately a bit wet after rains.

Easy then tricky headwall.

Interesting convoluted offwidth start, some more interesting moves, could do without the jungle ledge near the top.

I had looked at this arete before it was put up, I had originally envisioned a tough boulder starting underneath the arete and straddling out the nose. Maybe back in Graeme's day there was soil here!

Characteristic of the area for mantling big reach moves across blank wall to a series of horizontal fissures.

I think I started this too far right...

Unless I am doing it wrong that pull on start is quite tough. Really not much point in the varient, Crux is still the end section. Tree in the way awkward.

Hard to distinguish with adjacent climbs , needs a better bolting strategy ?

A bit of puzzling after first bolt, good mantle move after figuring it out, then supurb cranking final! Look forward to leading this one.

Awesome full balance mantle, a test piece for outdoor mantling. Some confusion with the bit with the tree and blank section above though.
