Ascents of MooserWirt

Hard for the grade, maybe not the warm-up I was hoping for, especially with that desperate crimpy start! Quite a fun sequence up high though, definitely worth doing!

Super fun!! Hard and reachy start.

Powerful start and pumpy climbing until the no hands rest on ledge. Committing throw at the crux! Did not feel 100% this weekend and getting shut on 18s did not help. Keen to try this again after a few good rest days.

Struggled right at the start, finding feet to reach pocket on right for the 2nd bolt. Liked the crimp city to move up. Punched a resident skink in a jug near 5th bolt. We both screamed at the same time! On the right the crack was swarmed w bees and quite spread all over to the anchor!

i quite like this climb but definitely a bit sandbagged in comparison to other 18s at stonehaven. reachy/committy/balancy crux

historical ascent

This climb has one shut down move right below the large break in the rock that felt heinously hard for an 18. I needed another full hands reach and was nowhere clear the next hold. Bailed.

Nice start, crux is before the second last RB, with crimpy, unapparent holds. Becomes quite bare for the last few ring bolts. The holds are there though, took me a few goes to piece the crux together.
