Haha, went for a change of scenery to try this one but hell no, the crux section is just really really footless. No clue whatsoever where to place the feet, the holds are really crimpy. Had to jumar this section, turns what follows is not too easy either. Hell of route, will take better fingers and feet to climb this one, not for tomorrow..

Got to the undercling crux that I could not figure out. Very spaced bolting and hard for the grade.

Got to the small roof down low.

Got shut down about one third up. Vinoy got shut down at the same place.

Got about halfway. Couple of steps under "de frietzak". Didn't see a huge jug on the left side of the volume, got the next hold but wasn't holding it right. Scared to fall as there was too much slack. Held on for as long as I could. Asked to take. I'm happy with where I got, didn't expect to get that high.

Got to the numberplate of route 28. Felt hard as nails. Happy that I got that far. Need to try more hard routes, challenge myself more.

A hard middle section shut me down after umpteen attempts. Fingers pretty sore of the repeated crimping attempts in the middle section. Some good insight from Stefan though: avoid ending up in a limbo of half-heartedness, where you battle to reach the point where you fell and after some desperate moves decide to drop out because you know your high point is good enough and because it's tough. A lack of creativity in movement and repeated body positiong errors are very symptomatic. Good fun trying, sad to not have reached the roof, because that's what we were there for actually...

It's all good holds he yelled. I was pretty pumped from The Wall and gave it some half-hearted tries, stranding two bolts in. Freyr 6c is well above my level, especially on Monday evenings.

Fell three times on various points in the route while battling to the top. Happy I could hold on and get ahead when I was pumped and on the verge of falling quite a few times. Some footholds are slippery. Will try again later.

Yes, I did make it to the roof and over, but was well spent by then. I didn't even bother jugging my way up on the artificial holds. Done for the day, thank you very much.

Als opwarming voor Plus beau, goed wat valletjes gepakt op eerste lengte, tweede lengte bleek gezien de omstandigehden iets te pittig, vooral dan de bombé over op het einde.

Beautiful short power route. Hard finish. Tried in top rope but bailed because too spicy.

Botched it at the end. Fell. Tried again from where I fell and got to the end. So it wasn't a clean run; earmarked as Attempt. I'll try again later.

One of the first times trying a true 6b in the overhang. Fell just before the second clip. Had to rest in the rope at the sloping ledge after attempting to go further. Still pumped from previous climbs. Will try again later.

Botched the first move with the upside down hold.
