Cayman Brac is an amazing winter rock climbing location. High quality sport climbing routes on gently overhanging limestone on a small, unspoiled tropical island in the Caribbean Sea.
Cayman Brac is the easternmost of the Cayman Islands, a set of three isles (Grand Cayman, Little Cayman, Cayman Brac) about 300km south of Cuba.

Fly into Grand Cayman then take a Cayman Airways flight to the Brac. It is best to rent a car to reach the crags at the deserted eastern tip of the island.
Bluff View seems to be the most popular climber's stay, but you may also check other resorts on the island.
Climbing began on the Brac in 1994 thanks to the northern Colorado climber Skip Harper (see “Hidden Treasure” in Rock & Ice No. 69). Harper and Ernie Johnson put up the island’s first climb, Chum Buckets (5.10b), at the Orange Cave.
