Great stemming and bridging in the first part, followed by a nice dull arête.

Also very nice, relaxed as soon as you clip the first bolt, although I did not have problems doing so.

A little sketchy, a lot of fun. Great route with a logical line, exposure and varied movements.

Starts with powerful boulder problem, I needed various attempts. Some additional trad placements are soothing.

Hard section at the bulge.

Hard section from second to third bolt on small pockets, but after two or three moves it's over and you can pull up on big holds. Nice rock structure, especially the crispy reddish-brown part in the beginning.

Athletic climbing on mostly excellent holds. My beta at the 2nd bolt crux felt pretty brutal, maybe worth revisiting for a more elegant solution. 3rd go

Didn't immediately see where to go at the bulge.

Messed up completely and went to the horn on the right instead of the cross move into the crack. Pulled through somehow anyway. The big chunky undercling after the crux is loose (and marked with an X) so better don't use it!

Athletic and fun moves on underclings. Spoiler: for the bulge, head straight up the crack at first, rather than the (seemingly obvious) move out right

The style suits me, but seems #soft for the grade none the less.

Unnecessary linkup. The unique section consists of a few moves and chaussy cr*p. Climb "Rauchende Strapse" and "Pussy Walk" instead.

Worthwhile variant to "Catwalk" with harder moves at the start and a different and slightly softer crux

Put in the draw at the fourth bolt but couldn't clip it safely from my position and didn't dare to jump to the good hold without having it clipped. Extended it a bit, so I could clip from the good sidepull.

Tricky moves at the fourth bolt. Not the hardest 8, but good moves!

Slap/jump to the big hole/ Bit of a one move wonder. FFS brush after you climb! The rock in the Franken is often rounded, has a fairly smooth texture and tends to be slippery in the [too often] humid conditions. Brushing the holds removes the chalk and makes the climbing a lot more enjoyable for those who come next. It's like picking up the trash before you leave - a question of decency.

Crux offers a choice: bad holds or a long move. 2nd go. Had I committed to the dynamic move right away, i would have had the onsight😤 Felt #soft for the grade.
