Ascents in Elona by Tobias Auth

Not bad but unobvious climbing with dead ends, strange holds and too sharp for me to give it a send go. Took a couple of falls (into the bolt above the cheese grater bit), that trashed my rope-end and shins.

Okayish with another awkward last sequence.

A whole sequence on #chipped pockets. Otherwise good on sharp but nice rock.

Surprisingly hard because of bad feet. Friction-slab without friction. Shares holds with the route to the left.

Cool, 5a climbing on nice features. The last two awkward moves give the grade.

Katrin's first 6a! Pretty cool and relatively new climb on grey rock. Slightly off vertical and delicate to a bulge with good holds but small feet.

Some neat tufas and huecos. Final clip requires some confidence. 6c/+.

Very good route with a delicate, slabby start and some cool moves on big holds.

Epic last day of the trip. All moves onsight/ flash (saw a beta photo for first crux) but there's no jug at the top – fell with the last hold in my hands. The last few moves at the top are quite powerful and easier if you get the sequence right. Last hold is a fat lefthand pinch and/ or a thin righthand mini-colonnette. [the route was in the shade until 1pm.] Off to montañejos and hopefully off to germany tomorrow!

Didn't trust my feet here. Only two other climbers here today and conditions were great.

6cish, techy and reachy on tufas and broccoli. Then a quick change of style: hard, boulder-like mantle crux on sloper, pocket, crimp.. Had to take the bypass to the left around the bulge after trying it several times.

Great varied climbing! Surprisingly not nearly as polished as the first pitch of Ramasca.

First pitch super worn out but good. The extention is pure class!
