Ascents in El Falco

First onsight of the grade. A little touch and go, engaging to the 4th bolt. The slab was a little more than I was mentally prepared for too.

This route shares the anchors with the 7a and didn't look to hard so why not. Not a true onsight but this route isn't a true 7b, it would be soft at 7a+ but maybe I got lucky? A couple of crimpy spots but not to hard. Good ego booster.

Almost Arapiles style rock! Super techy the whole way, loved it

Great sustained climbing on one of the shorter routes on this wall.

40m super pitch. Super!

THE natural line of the crag and a real fight... Climbs a steep corner into an airy layback crux. I got lucky at the crux and through to the best hold to pull onto the head wall. Stella.

Another classic long pitch. A 70m rope will get you to the ground from the top anchor.

Climbed by mistake instead of the 6b on the right. Only to the first anchor so perhaps 7a.

One of the best climbs I have ever done! So cool!

I loved it, but everyone else thought I was a sandbagging bastard. On the plus side of 7a+, but wouldn’t give it 7b

What a journey

Get your slab on.. A little soft this one and shorter then some of the other routes but a good change of style to get slabbin.

The extension has good climbing, but is a bit bouldery.

1st pitch only. Was going to link it into Animal.

Yet another stellar route. Great long technical climbing all the way to the top. We did this one as the warm down!

I love this crag and this climb is a must!! 40 metres climbing on the best rock with super fun moves, I couldn't feel my fingers for the top 15 or so metres Contender for my fav climb in Spain.

Tricky start and sustained, you know your done when ever climb feels as hard as the last regardless of the grade.

I thought I could handle the cold today.. My hands were so cold and frozen I didn't even feel the water in the pockets. Time to bail

The thought crossed my mind near the top of this route that it might be the best pitch ive ever climbed. A full 40m of pockets, some filled with quartz crystals, a leaning overhanging arapalies like corner at the top. Get on it.

Wow. A contender for the best 6c+ in the universe! 40m of sustained slightly steep moves of such engagingly varied complexity that it defeats and written description. The top stemming corner in particular is a technical masterpiece.
