The long standing Vecchio left project. Many days of work. Hardest 5 moves I've ever linked together and it's perfectly my style. Shouldery moves, high feet, and very tense climbing. Last day in Swiss and couldn't be more psyched to finally piece this one together.

5 stars all the way. A perfect boulder problem. Took only a couple of tries today on my first day back in Brione since 2010. Feeling very "at home" on the rock. Time to find some new lines.

Dream come true. The very best boulder imaginable and something I've wanted to do since I started climbing. Bummed to be cutting the trip short, but at least the last ditch effort before heading to the airport paid off. Plenty more to do around here. Be back when the world is out of crisis mode.

Started sitting two moves lower than where Dave started. This is where I was originally told that the problem started and it is the most obvious place, in my opinion, to begin the boulder. Definitely adds to the overall difficulty. This problem means so much to me in so many ways. My hardest ascent so far and the most I've battled for a send. Mostly a mental battle because today the send felt easy. Such is life. Very excited to move forward now. Projects await.

Wanted to climb this line for a long time. Started with a proper sit start one hold lower than the original start. Seemed like the most obvious start position to me, even though it adds a bit of difficulty. Despite the rain, it was a wonderful day in the woods. Fell off the end of "in search..." three times, now my shoulders are very tired.

2nd go from the start. Everything is a right heel...and I still use my toes. Great rock climb. Nice edges and shiiiitt. Getting back in shape. Finger is improving. Oh yes!

Used the tall man beta, even though it should be physically impossible for me to do so. Felt like 8B that way...I need to learn how to heel hook soon!

Not the best, but it was dry unlike the rest of the forest.

One move. Hard. Very cool.

Just before the storm. Really nice to finish this thing off before leaving Magic Wood. Almost sent first day and thought it could be 8B, but 3 days of falling on the same move and it makes sense as 8B+. Strangely powerful climbing.

A perfect, pure, hard line. Sloping holds in a roof. One of my all time favorites. The first few holds were still wet, so I basically had to climb it with wet hands. Feeling unbelievably strong and focused right now. Ready for more.

3rd Ascent. Fell off the last move probably 20 times from the start. Started to become a bit of a mental battle. Pulled through today and couldn't be more psyched. Feeling fit and motivated. This one feels lower end for the 8C grade, but I don't have enough experience with the grade to know for sure. Roofs aren't really my style and I'm happy to see myself progress within the realm.

This type of roof climbing is not easy for me. Psyched to feel strong on this problem. Really cool moves on some of the best incuts. Now for the low start and the other projects.

A little less stubbornness on my part could have saved me some skin. None the less, a classic of the forest. Really good moves. Close on Dark Matter and Mystic Stylez...keep 'em coming!
