5.5 | ★ RMC - with Lea, Samuel Beauregard-Tousignan | 61m
Lead in one pitch with double 50m but I wouldn't recommend it because I was unable to protect the roof exit of the second pitch for my second while avoiding rope drag.
Also, definitely exit the first crux sequence laying back on that ledge, you've earned it! |

While the route finding from the ground isn't easy, the climb is good. I found some small gear at the opening crux, but it wouldn't have prevented decking. P2 protects very well, even for an inexperienced leader.
|
|||||||
5.5 G | ★★ Jackie - with Lea, Samuel Beauregard-Tousignan | 40m
Lead in 1 pitch with 50m double ropes without any simul. Very fun route to do if you're not stuck in the crowds. I thought the second pitch of "Classic" was better.
|
|||||||
- | Uberfall Descent Route - with Lea, Samuel Beauregard-Tousignan
Highly recommend this over rappelling many routes around. We had the time to go down from "Classic", have lunch, then back up "Jackie" before a single person from the four other teams touched the ground (they decided to join ropes for a full lenght rappel).
None of us (3) thought it was a scary downclimb, but it would be possible to make a quick munter belay off of a tree or some gear if need be. |

The bolted crux was very manageable. We cleared a loose half-microwave-sized block off the middle of the first pitch. Great bolted belays offering a rappel line just to the side of the climbing line allowing parties to cross easily.

Changing into my climbing shoes while balancing on the flake to be able to pull the last few moves was tricky... | 67m | ★★★ Classic
P2 is much stiffer than the crux of "Arrow"
Following the older Swain guidebook, we thought we were on red pillar until we topped out... Oops. We actually climbed P1 of "Three Dove", then through the crux of "Annie Oh!" and finally exited through "Three Dove"'s exit. Great moves with solid (but slightly runout) protection. Standard gunks rack up to BD#2. |

Slung a tree in a sort of muddy crack area. There was a tree with a rap ring but I just clipped it and kept going, since Gunks App said to belay from the middle of the wall.

Went off-route left on P2, same as following last time. Route over overhanging blocks was licheny so I thought I was remembering wrong, but it was right. Sad that I didn't do it.
