Linked both pitches. Trying to offwidth the layback was not the smartest move even tho it worked, took forever lol. Something to work on. Nice cracks on the 2nd pitch .

What a superb climb! Such fun!

head was shaky, unsurprising for trying to start the season at my limit (it was the only line free that looked good)

as single pitch. did a Dane and decided that following recommended gear was for the weak; didn't take into account gear lists being per pitch, nor the offwidth variant (clearly the nicer line). gear beta from climbers on next route gave me the confidence to try for the anchors instead of pitching it out. I'm sure being 5m above a tipped out unextended #4 in an insecure offwidth is good training for something

Short fixing practice

Seconding Nate to squeeze in one more pitch before he left. Foot slipped on the glassy rock. First thing I fell off in Yosemite, and it was a bumbly classic.

Climbed as one long pitch. Lots of drag...

aid lead then free TR to clean, probably better off wearing free shoes for this one

Stupidly stuffed a nut in the only good hold on the slick upper pin scarred crack.

Pulled on gear to hurry things up and escape the storm.

My first climb in the valley so was stoked to get this clean. Loved the fact that the pin scars are now great finger locks.

Wish it were even longer! Definitely one of the best single pitch 5.8's in the Valley.

So, so many pin scars. While tragic in a way, it did feel historical.

Fun climb. Good alternative if there's a congo line on bishops terrace

Lead P1 and about 1/2 of P2 -- up to just below the twin cracks. Oops.

Also, got the start wrong, so fought with a couple off-width bits before backing off, finding the right start, and actually having fun with it.

An excellent climb, good gear and good movement through-out. The only pity is that the section of perfect vertical hand-crack on P2 isn't longer than it is.
