Nice view from the top

My first proper via ferrata, without the proper gear of course ( stupid climber). Mostly climbed the rock, about grade 6. Some pretty outrageous territory but it annoyed me as much as an over bolted sport climb because I kept forgetting I was tethered. Nice and quiet- both the route and the lack of motor traffic because the roads are closed today and are for bikes only. I got Dave to drop me at carpark before the curfew, and walked back to our place in Corvara via the eastern descent.

I thought it was samnivel at first!

Did this 4 years ago, 2nd shot. Thought it was the 22, so it felt a bit hard on micro crimps

Would fit in well at Shipley slabs if it had more bolts

led P1 and 3-4. Cruised 6b roof, fingers cut up by spiky limestone and had to rest a couple of times on 6c pitch. A file, and it would be absolutlely fantastic.

OS, several cruxy sections

Never to be repeated probably, but the most awesome death defying runout route I have ever done! Route finding problems for the SE buttress meant I did 14, 20, 18, 14 to the right we think of the grade 16 route. Used every trick in the book except heel hooks and dynos. The name refers to our feet after the 9 hour total access!
